Like all great companies, we started in our parent’s garage. We started by detailing cars for used car lots that would come in from auction and boy were they dirty. Those experiences taught us how to handle really just about anything. It was a great learning experience that really opened our eyes to just how dirty some cars can get. We learned a lot and wanted to learn more.

We did a lot of experimenting with our own cars to see which products worked the best, what we liked, and didn’t like. We’d go get car hoods from the junkyard so we could practice polishing out scratches to a mirror shine. We’d take the jobs no one else wanted and those were some of our most valuable learning experiences.

Knowledge and skilled hands are our greatest assets. Brite Detailing seeks out constant learning to better perfect our trade and to produce ever better results. This dedication to learning and skill translated into Brite being recognized by the IDA as a Certified Detailer. This means that our work and knowledge of the process of detailing a car has been scrutinized by the best in the industry and we’ve found to be worthy of awarded this recognition. It means we know what we’re doing and that you can rest assured that you’re in qualified hands.

Reduce plastic

Brite Detailing is committed to reducing plastic consumption by 30%.

We will begin purchasing cleaning supplies in bulk starting September 2019. This will reduce the overall amount of plastic consumed as well as supply chain consumption by consolidating deliveries. We are also exploring different suppliers as well in our effort to reduce consumption.

Tire Pressure Checks

Along with providing our regular services we will be adding a complimentary tire pressure check to all of our services; low pressure being one of the main causes of poor fuel mileage.

Brite will also maintain its vehicles to ensure that they’re consuming as little fuel as possilbe along with maintaining consistent tire pressure.

Awareness

We’re changing our marketing materails to include awareness of green business initiatives that will include how much we were able to recycle out of each vehicle we service.

Community Involvement

Brite Detailing knows that businesses don’t operate in a social vacuum. Businesses and the people who operate them are a part of a greater community. The way we interact with clients and operate within the community have a greater impact on the community as a whole. That is why we work closely with a variety of statewide nonprofit organizations to not only operate as a business but to benefit the community as a whole.

Brite Detailing works along side statewide Non-for-profits such as Tree Utah, The National Ability Center, and area recycling programs. Giving back isn’t just an ideal. For Brite, it’s a reality.

Tree Utah

Brite Detailing is a mobile operation that services your home, office, or hotel accommodations. We make sure that our vehicles are serviced and maintained on a regular basis so that they operate as efficiently as possible. But we want to take it further not only by lowering our carbon footprint but by working to zero it out.

Each year, we work with Tree Utah to plant trees in and around the Park City area to help zero out our carbon emissions for the year. This not only helps reduce our carbon footprint but helps beautify the community and has a cumulative effect. The plants and trees that we help plant will continue to grow and will cumulatively reduce more carbon that we produce, thus creating a net positive benefit for generations to come.

Recycle Utah

Brite Detailing is an active participant when it comes to recycling. We actively work to not only reduce our consumption but to recycle any and all materials that we possibly can. What does this look like in action?

In the Field: We collect recyclable materials from vehicles that we detail. Instead of throwing them out with the trash we collect them and recycle them. These materials generally include but aren’t limited:

  • Cardboard Materials

  • Single Use Water Bottles

  • Aluminum Cans

We also take care to reduce consumption where possible. Starting in 2019 we have begun buying our cleaning supplies in bulk. This reduces not only the amount of packing that we consume but also reduces the amount of packaging that is used in shipment along with the frequency that we receive shipments. This means that less fuel is being consumed in the shipment and delivery process as well, thus reducing overall carbon output on a larger scale.

National Ability Center

The National Ability Center has a busy fleet. We do our part to help them keep their vehicles in good looking shape either by donating detailing services or helping supply them throughout the year with materials to keep their vehicles in tip top shape so that their participants have a great experience during all aspects of their time at the National Ability Center.

Along with donating detailing services and supplies, Brite Detailing actively participates in the National Ability Center’s
annual Red, White, and Snow Gala by providing ongoing donations that attendees can purchase through auction. All proceeds from donations go to support The National Ability Center and their mission.
